Shipping and Payment Policies

Shipping of any of our products to anywhere on Earth is no problem at all. The only shipping limitations are the sales territory limitations which are stated at the very bottom of the Reno Hi-Fi inventory page. All our products are extremely well-packed, and we insure all shipments. Shipping damage or loss is virtually non-existent. Even with the huge volume of shipments we make, Reno Hi-Fi submits an insurance claim less than once every two years, about one claim per 1000 shipments (not a typo).

Reno Hi-Fi ships worldwide most every weekday, and we can easily ship any of our products to your doorstep. Whether you need a pair of PASS Xs-300 amps weighing 680 pounds delivered to a home in rural Tennessee, or a First Watt amplifier delivered to the Australian Outback—it’s no problem. Our years of experience shipping amplifiers all-over the globe will make your product delivery easy, quick and stress-free.

Reno Hi-Fi’s huge inventory makes shipping FAST. When you order from our massive inventory, most of which is listed on the In Stock page, we usually ship your order on the next weekday so you can have and enjoy your new audio product as quickly as possible. We usually use UPS Ground, fully-insured with signature required at delivery. Alternate carriers and shipping upgrades are available by request and at extra cost. We’ll send you an email with your tracking information as soon as it’s available. The notification is usually a “UPS Quantum View” email that shows much of the shipping information and includes a hotlink for up-to-the-minute information on the shipment. We don’t cut corners on shipping, insurance and packing. And that’s why we have very few problems providing excellent shipping results to our clients worldwide.

Forms of Payment We Accept: We accept virtually every form of payment except Collection On Delivery (and no one ever asks for C.O.D.). All major credit cards (and some minor ones), and debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo are welcomed, and Reno Hi-Fi does not charge an extra fee to use a credit or debit card. PayPal is welcomed and also without an extra fee from Reno Hi-Fi. Bank Wire Transfers are accepted, and we will provide the bank information for a wire transfer after we conclude an agreement for purchase of a product. Cashier’s checks and money orders are welcome, and if they are written on a U.S. bank, there is usually no waiting period for these to clear. Personal checks are accepted, but it can take up to 10 days to clear before we will ship product paid by personal check.

There is no “Buy It Now” or “Shopping Cart” on RenoHiFi.com. This is by design to best serve our clients. A discussion in a one-minute phone call or a very few sentences in an email can save a lot of disappointment and wasted shipping expenses. We’re always happy to take your order, but we know that you want the product to work in your system; so let’s take one minute and make sure there’s not something that we know will cause a system conflict. We want you happy, and Reno Hi-Fi is a great deal more than a vending machine.
